O’REILLY AUTO PARTS NATIONAL INDOOR KART
CHAMPIONSHIP RELOCATES
JAM PROMOTIONS, INC., MEMPHIS, TN. announced today that the
O’Reilly Auto Parts National Indoor Kart Championship
(November 28th and 29th 2008) the World’s largest indoor
go-kart race which has previously been held in Tunica, MS
has a new location. The
Batesville, MS Civic Center will now be the new home of
the karting world’s most prestigious event. Annually drawing
over one thousand entrants from across the nation, this
nationally televised event has become the Mecca for karters
on Thanksgiving weekend.
Roy Head, Director of the Batesville Civic Center stated
that they are honored to have the opportunity to host an
event of this magnitude not only for the exposure it will
bring to Batesville but also the economic impact this will
have on the Batesville area.
Lanier James, President of JAM PROMOTIONS, INC. commented
that this new location offers the amenities that were needed
to take this event to a higher level. Participants and race
fans will benefit from this facility’s user-friendly design
while enjoying its convenient location in an urban
environment of restaurants, shops and hotels while still
only a short distance to the Casino entertainment.
